Low Back Pain

There is not one person who hasn’t had low back pain at least once. With a more sedentary society committed to desk work, back pain can be caused by long commutes and tight hip flexors. However, there is a more disconcerting problem that could be the root of your low back pain. Some women may experience what is called a retroverted uterus, where the uterus starts to tip backwards instead of forward into the abdominal wall. When this happens, you will get cramps more towards the back during your period.

Also, low back pain can stem from degenerative disk disease. Though this sounds serious and scary, it is a condition caused by age-related wear and tear. However, if you start to experience bowel and bladder changes or numbness in the legs, you need to consult a doctor. You may have nerve damage.
