Endometriosis
Women still in the reproductive stage of life are at risk of getting endometriosis, a painful condition that causes the lining of the uterus to grow on the outside of the organ. Although endometriosis is fairly common, many of the symptoms mirror other conditions, and it can take between 6-10 years to get a diagnosis.
During this period, women are subjected to horrible pain every single menstrual cycle. The pain can even affect their daily lives and keep them back from furthering their careers. It is no wonder that those ladies who are plagued with endometriosis oftentimes develop depression and/or anxiety.
