5. Reduced Physical Performance
Although most people start the keto diet to become healthier, your physical performance can be greatly influenced when first starting out. One main reason for this is (sorry!) a lowered intake of fluid and salts. We would suggest drinking water with half a teaspoon of salt half an hour to an hour before partaking in exercise. Another reason is due to the fact that your body takes time to adapt to burning additional fat.
Unfortunately, the only solution for this seems to be time, as long as a few weeks or a few months. A way to speed this process along is to exercise more, which might be hard if you are used to being able to do more than you are currently able to.
