11. Keto Rash
Although this is not very common, it can be both annoying and unsightly. A keto rash can be due to the fact that sweat during ketosis contains acetone, which can irritate the skin in high concentrations. Things that could help include showering right after working out, switch to strength training instead of focusing on cardio, and wipe yourself down if you find yourself getting super sweaty.
If you can’t seem to solve this issue with any of the above, it is possible that the keto diet is simply too much for your body to handle. Before stopping altogether, it might be helpful to try and increase your intake of carbs slightly (again, could decrease the benefits of the keto diet).
