Too Much Vigorous Exercise
Women are at risk of the female athletic triad, a series of symptoms that result from too much exercise, low body weight, and adrenal fatigue. The triad then reveals itself with three main symptoms, including amenorrhea, osteoporosis, and disordered eating. According to a study from Brazil, half of all exercising women in the study experienced subtle irregularities in their cycle, while 1/3 of the women had amenorrhea. In short, avoid working out too heavily and overtraining, because your health depends on it.
