For many years, consumers have been warned about the dangers of chemicals, synthetic materials, and pesticides showing up in the food that we eat and the drinks we consume regularly. Now, evidence is being continuously exhumed that reveals how potent pesticides can be. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) has even claimed that pesticides used on fruits and vegetables can mimic human hormones and upset the balance of the endocrine system.
