Drink alcohol on one condition: With food
Your doctor might have advised you that drinking occasionally, is just fine. However, it is critical to note that you should only do so, by eating some food to accompany the alcohol. Why is this important? If you didn’t know, alcohol drinking could potentially result in low blood glucose levels.
Also, arm yourself with some water, which can help you when you become thirsty. Again, mixed drinks may increase your blood sugar if you either use soda or juice as your routine mixer. If you are a lady, you should not have more than one drink, whereas one should not have more than two drinks if you are a man.
