6. Foot pain
As we mentioned above, diabetes can lead to nerve damage, especially in the feet and toes when blood flow is not what it should be in the lower extremities. Sores and other health issues like infections can also be due to an unhealthy blood sugar level.
Like we also discussed above, this can lead to the need to the amputation of either the foot or leg. Therefore, if you experience numbness or strange sensations in the feet or legs, seek medical attention right away. Again, it is better to be safe than sorry.
