5. Increased Thirst
If you happen to notice that you are more thirsty than usual and that you are still thirsty even after drinking copious amounts of water, it could be an indication that your body is trying to lower the amount of glucose in your system by emitting it via urine. Therefore, it is a cycle of being thirsty, which will increase your need to empty your bladder, which will cause you to become dehydrated, and then the cycle starts all over again.
So, if you experience a thirst that is unquenchable, talk to your doctor so they can see if prediabetes is the cause.
