Over-Exertion of the Muscles
Fitness is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Feeling improvement as we push ourselves to work harder is an incredibly rewarding feeling. However, our bodies need to develop gradually and pushing them too hard can be detrimental.
Over-exertion of the muscles when training or engaging in other physical activities can lead to painful leg cramping. To avoid this exercise less intensely and for shorter times, ensure that you have had enough carbohydrates to fuel your muscles and regularly stretch your problem areas to prevent muscle tightness.
