Broccoli
Broccoli is a power food, it’s low calorie and packed with vitamins and minerals. In addition, broccoli has one of the highest fiber contents among vegetables at 2.4 grams per cup. While broccoli may not be your favorite vegetable, it’s extremely versatile and can be prepared a number of ways including raw, cooked, topped with sauce or even mixed into dishes and stuffing.
If you are looking for a quick fiber fix, it’s important to note that broccoli has a higher fiber content when it is eaten raw; however, if it`s steamed lightly, less of its nutrients and fiber will be lost than if it`s cooked at a higher temperature, for a longer time.
