    Redness

    Persistent red patches on the skin, especially on the legs shouldn’t be ignored especially if they appear after surgery or injury. Visit a doctor immediately when you notice this symptom. The primary symptom of deep vein thrombosis is skin redness which doesn’t go away with time. The redness can also intensify for no apparent reason.
