Oats
Oats help by soothing the skin and reducing inflammation. Using oats can also limit the desire to scratch the area. Soak some oats in a bowl of warm water and soak the area of the burn in it, or make a paste and apply to the skin. For larger burn areas, add one cup to a bathtub filled with warm water and soak for twenty minutes. Don’t forget to air dry the skin afterwards and make sure not to wipe the oats away until they are dry.
