Raw Honey
Raw honey has natural antibiotic properties and has been used to treat a variety of different skin ailments for literally thousands of years. Treating a burn with honey is especially beneficial if the burn has become infected since it can help to kill germs. As with the full-fat milk above, it can also aid in cooling down the area. An added bonus is that the raw honey can help keep the skin hydrated, which can allow for a more speedy healing process. It is suggested that in order to limit the chances of infection to use the back of a spoon to apply the raw honey to the wound, and not your fingers.
