First, nobody expects you to suddenly switch from couch potato to marathoner, but increasing the amount of exercise that you do can help maintain stable low blood glucose levels.
The best thing that you can do is to find fitness that works for you and your lifestyle, if you are not happy going to the gym then don’t go, there are lots of ways to exercise. You could take up a sport like cycling or swimming, go for walks and gradually increase your frequency and distance, or join a walking group or fitness or dance class.
Increasing your movement will help you feel more energetic and you might find new activities that you love and even make some friends in the process.
