Beneficial Uses for Apple Cider Vinegar

Lower Blood Sugar

Diabetics and pre-diabetics can benefit greatly from apple cider vinegar because of this. Studies have shown that when diabetics consume vinegar after eating a carbohydrate-rich meal, there is an improved insulin response. One study even saw a significant 34% increase in insulin sensitivity, which resulted in lower blood glucose levels. Before picking up apple cider vinegar, be sure to clear it with your doctor, especially if you are on medication.

The recommended dosage for diabetics is to dilute two tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar in a cup of water then drink it before your meal. You can also take two tablespoons of vinegar in the morning or evening to promote more stable insulin levels.

Keep in mind that ACV can only assist with lowering blood glucose. It is not meant to replace your medication.
