Extra Cutlery and Cooking Utensils
Regardless of what your mother said, you really don’t need twenty spatulas and ladles, friend. You also don’t need twenty pairs of knives, either. In reality, you only need 3 or 4 decent knives, such as a serrated knife, a paring knife, santoku knife, and maybe a bread knife, depending on how much cooking you do.
Remnants For Your Take-Out
What’s the point of keeping all those condiments, chopsticks, and plastic forks, spoons, and knives from your latest Grubhub order? Your guests don’t want plastic utensils. Nor do they want cheap chopsticks. Do yourself a favor and clean out the drawers of cheap cutlery and those condiment packets. Chances are, you have some creeping towards fermentation in the fridge.
Don’t forget those old take-out menus either.
Logo Cups and Shot Glasses From College
Sure, it’s fine to keep one or two shot glasses in memory of that one spring break in Cancun, or if one was a gift from a loved one or best friend, but you don’t need hundreds of shot glasses creating precarious towers in your cabinets.
