Focus On The Future 30 Minutes at a Time
It might seem kind of strange to be told to focus on the future since society is so forward-thinking already. However, this is a different take on being future-oriented. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there are people who are intensely focused on the here-and-now and solving immediate problems that they never think about what comes next. Both of these can be debilitating.
So, how can you counteract this? Take some time to think about what you are doing, what has been done, and how you can use the immediate steps to solve bigger, more complex issues or attain the ultimate goal in your life. It is easier to chip away at larger goals or problems piece-by-piece rather than trying to do everything at once. From a business standpoint, this means filling in cracks in the foundation first before tackling anything else.
