Mind Mapping
A mind map is much like brainstorming but helps break through monotony. To make a mind map, you create an organized diagram that connects ideas with a web. Out of a central idea, you form branches that can also have limbs of thought. Mind maps can give you clarity where other forms of brainstorming cannot and will also provide for you a road map of what needs to be done.
You can make mind maps as complex or as simple as you want. You can incorporate it into a journal, or you can use a smartphone mind map app. Choose what works best for you.
