Avoid Multitasking
Humans aren’t made to multitask. The brain works best when time is devoted to one thing and only that. Knowing this, highly successful people find ways to prioritize one important step, finalize that step, and then move on from there. Although multitasking may seen favorable, you are really just overstretching yourself and doing less work for a longer period of time.
This is also true with life. Focus on spending time with family when you are together instead of worrying about work, for example. Be mindful when you eat instead of trying to do homework or thinking about bills. Be present, not preoccupied.
