Although many people use electronic devices these days to take notes, some people still like the pen-and-paper method. Or you might be signing in somewhere and need to borrow a pen or pencil. But here is a reason to maybe start carrying your own pen around or visiting the washroom after using a pen: the typical office pen has 10 times more germs that a public toilet seat, or nearly 200 bacteria per square inch.
Now think about all the times you have been compelled to chew on the cap of a pen or tap your pencil against your nose. Ew.
