Cereal
Not all cereals are created equally. Cereals that have a high fiber content are generally a healthier choice and are more effective at preventing constipation than other varieties. When choosing a cereal, you should pick one that has a fiber content of at least 5 grams per serving. A normal serving size is about at half a cup for most cereals.
If you are looking for an extra fiber boost, your cereal can be modified with a sprinkle of flax seeds or linseed and topped with some berries or fresh fruit.
