Beans
Beans beans, the musical fruit. The more you eat, the more you… you know what. Beans are not only a rich source of protein but they are a potent source of fiber as well. Adding beans to a meal will make it more effective against constipation.
Another great thing about beans is that there are so many varieties. White, navy, black, lima, kidney, pinto and great Northern beans are excellent sources of fiber and can be easily added to salads, soups, wraps, mixed vegetables and so many other culinary treats. If you still doubt the potency of beans in terms of fiber, you should know that 100 grams of Navy beans contains 19 grams of fiber and the same amount of kidney beans contains 25 grams of fiber!
