Mint or Ginger Tea
Mint and ginger are known to be home remedies for several digestive issues. Menthol, which is found in peppermint helps in relaxing the intestinal muscles and ginger is an herb that is known to bring warming effects to the body. Both these are very useful in speeding up a lazy digestive tract.
To add to this, the hot water that is required to make the tea also stimulates digestion and further provides relief against constipation. If you are making a trip to the store, another great example of natural laxative and detoxifier is dandelion tea. It may be more difficult to find than mint or ginger, but dandelion tea has a greater impact in relieving constipation.
