Fatigue
Most illnesses are accompanied by this symptom so it’s advisable to check for other symptoms of blood clots. A clot can cause fatigue because it causes the body’s defense mechanism to work overtime to clear the clot. Since fatigue is a nonspecific symptom whose root cause can be hard to find, visit a doctor immediately when you experience fatigue among other signs of deep vein thrombosis.
When a blood clot forms in your body, you will start experiencing fatigue which can’t be traced to common causes such as having a long day or engaging in strenuous physical activity. The fatigue also seems to be persistent even after you have slept or had enough rest.
