Back Pain
Everyone complains about back pain these days, especially older adults. This causes of back pain are many, but most are connected with long periods of inactivity, walking and sitting with poor posture, and the atrophied muscles of the back and around the spine. Bones and tissues do weaken over time, but poor posture and inactivity accelerates the process.
The best way to treat back pain is not medication. To get to the foundation of the problem, you need to move around more. Do some light stretching, like yoga, or get a massage to remove the tension from the back. Exercise and strengthen the muscles. You should also focus on working the core muscles to aid with posture and keep you standing upright, especially if you don’t want to develop kyphosis or lordosis later in life
