Eggs
No list of brain-boosting foods would be complete without eggs. There are two reasons eggs are nutritional powerhouses: B-vitamins and choline. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition has found that eggs are the best dietary source of choline. Without choline, the brain cannot function properly, and you might notice that without this mineral, you can’t concentrate.
Finnish researchers also found after studying 2,500 men over 22 years that those who ate eggs on a regular basis not only performed better on cognitive tests, they were far less likely than those who didn’t consume eggs to get Alzheimer’s disease.
If you’re concerned about the cholesterol, don’t be. You can safely eat 1-2 eggs a day, every day, and not have any adverse effects.
