    Coconut Oil

    Another superfood that is seen everywhere these days is coconut oil. You can see it as an ingredient in everything from toothpaste, skin care, and food. Coconut is high in saturated fat and many antioxidants that protect your brain from inflammation and free radicals. The medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) are also used as quick energy, helping you concentrate better and feel more energized.

    For those who have seizures, coconut oil is beneficial. Because the MCTs are turned into ketones, a diet rich in ketones can help control epilepsy and seizures. Those same antioxidants, vitamins, and nutrients were found in a study to help improve brain function in patients with Alzheimer’s disease.
