Social Media Related Sleep Deprivation
Spending too much time on the internet or on our phones scrolling through social media late at night can be hard to resist, especially if you’re having trouble sleeping or letting go of the stress from the day.
It is natural that because the reward center of our brain fire up when we are scrolling through social media.
But this late-night scrolling can have an impact on your sleep. If you are starting to get comments about being sleep deprived or it is becoming increasingly difficult to focus when you’re at work or school, this may be a red flag that your social media is becoming an unhealthy habit.
