Anthocyanins
Anthocyanins are a kind of antioxidant that belong to what is known as the flavonoid group that help to promote healthy eyes. Anthocyanins help to strengthen membrane and can help keep down inflammation including that associated with certain eye conditions. Anthocyanins can be found in fruits such as blueberries, black currants, raspberries, oranges, and cherries and also in the skin of red cabbage and certain olives.
