Reverting
Have you ever said you are going to change/stop doing something but revert and keep doing the same thing or more of it? Committing yourself to staying away from activities or substances which aren’t good for you can be challenging based on the activity or substance in question and how it has influenced your life. If your happiness levels are dependent on an activity, taking a break or setting limits from that activity for some time is recommendable. Being unable to keep your commitments is a sure sign that you have developed an addiction. In most cases, your inability to stick to your commitments is accompanied by thoughts which make engaging in the behavior a logical option regardless of the negative consequences.
