Make Sure You’re Always Eating For Two
You’ve probably heard over and over again that you are eating for two now. This is usually from well-meaning friends and family who want to make sure that you are completely healthy during your pregnancy. While this is a great way for your loved ones to support you, there is no reason to go overboard.
It only takes about three hundred extra calories every day to make sure that your growing baby is getting the nutrients that it needs. Any more than that will make both you and your fetus gain more weight than is necessary. Having a larger baby during delivery increases your chances of having issues during the birth while being overweight yourself increases your chances of a variety of health issues.
