Relieve Minor Sunburn
Spent too much time out in the sun recently? No worries! You can grab a common aid for sunburn, such as a cold compress or aloe vera to help. But if you want to really find relief, you should also add apple cider vinegar to your after-sun skincare regimen. If you have a mild sunburn (only a MILD one), then you can add some apple cider vinegar to your bath or mix it with cold water and spray it onto your skin.
Never apply apple cider vinegar to sunburn on your face, since this can increase irritation instead of relieving it. Also, never use large quantities of undiluted ACV on your skin. The acid present in apple cider vinegar can exacerbate the sun damage. That is why you can only use it with mild sunburn and should always be diluted first.
If you are unsure about the severity of your sunburn, consult with your physician prior to using apple cider vinegar or any other sunburn soother.
