Defeat Fleas and Other Bugs
If you live somewhere sand fleas are common or if you just brought home a new furry friend to find that they are crawling with fleas, you are in luck. Apple cider vinegar is surprisingly effective at ridding your furry companions of bloodsuckers. Rather than bathing your fur babies in chemical-laden formulas found in the supermarket than can make them sick, you can make an all-natural flea bath using apple cider vinegar.
Simply mix one cup of apple cider vinegar per one cup of water. Optionally, you can fill a spray bottle with equal parts vinegar and water then apply the mixture to your pet’s coat once a day until the fleas and the eggs are gone.
Are you having a problem with fruit flies? You can use apple cider vinegar as a cheap and super effective fruit fly trap. All you have to do is pour a little unfiltered, double fermented vinegar into a shallow cup, add some dish soap (to sink the trapped flies), and set it out where the flies have gathered. You will be surprised how quickly the trap works.
