Calm Stings and Bites
Wasps, bees, lice, jellyfish, and other critters can cause a lot of pain. You can soothe pain and inflammation from poisonous bites and stings with a few droplets of apple cider vinegar on a cotton pad or ball. Apply the cotton ball directly to the affected area. The acid in ACV can neutralize the venom under the skin. Additionally, the acids will prevent the toxin from spreading farther into the skin.
Keep in mind that, if you are allergic to certain bug stings and bites, applying apple cider vinegar might not always help. If you or someone you know starts exhibiting signs of shock, get to a hospital as soon as possible. The same applies to infections.
