Type 1 diabetes
Type 1 diabetes occurs because your body is unable to produce any insulin. This will mean that as part of your treatment you will be required to take some insulin shots to keep your sugar levels at par. This disease may be accompanied by many different skin conditions, one of which is hives. It is important to note that some of the symptoms are specific to Type 1 diabetics, and others can just be picked up by anyone. So, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have diabetes if you suffer from any of its symptoms. Some diabetes warning signs include bacterial infections, diabetic dermopathy, fungal infections, eruptive xanthomatosis, blisters, among others.
