Shoulder Pain

When a tumor in the lung grows, it can lead to pressure being put on the top of the lungs as well as the different nerves in the armpit. The result is usually feelings of tingling, aching, and pain in that area. These sensations usually spread from the top of the shoulder down to the inner arms and hands. If the cancer is at the stage that this is an issue, it means that it is unfortunately at a point where it has become quite large. Sadly, this means that the cancer may be beyond a simple treatment. Other indicators that this might be the reason for the experience of pain is feelings of tenderness and soreness in the rib cage area and near the armpit, a generally achy body, and swelling of the face.
