Anemia
Anemia is among the most common symptoms of kidney cancer. The disease is caused by decreasing red blood cell levels. The kidney produces the hormone erythropoietin responsible for signaling the body to increase red blood cell production in the bone marrow. Kidney cancer inhibits erythropoietin production. When the level of red blood cells plummets, you start feeling weak, tired, unfocused and short of breath. Other noticeable signs of anemia include; pallor in the lips and skin. However, anemia symptoms can be milder.
