Take a Work Leave When You’re Sick
If you experience flu-like symptoms, you should take a work leave until the fever subsides. Just notify your employer of your condition, and request sick leave. Most organizations have this constituted somewhere, and as long as you tell your boss, you should have a day off. However, do not take advantage of this to sleep in.
Taking a work leave allows you to prevent spreading germs that come with certain conditions such as flu to other office people. When you get back to work, ensure that you wash your hands, and practice safe practices to ensure that you don’t spread the flu.
