Reduce Stress
According to biochemist Hans Selye, there are two forms of stress, a positive one called eustress, and a negative one called distress. Eustress is beneficial, especially on one’s health, and enhances motivation, emotional wellness, and performance. It helps people stay inspired and has a positive effect on our lives.
On the other hand, distress has a negative effect on the body and causes depression and chronic inflammation. It is harmful to the body and makes us feel tired and exhausted. Also, it lowers the immune system, predisposing us to contact diseases.
Work can be pretty stressful, especially for those with more significant responsibilities. If one has stress in the workplace, they can easily contract diseases due to low immunity. Such subjects can then quickly spread the germs to other people in the office. For them to avoid this, it is essential to manage stress, probably by dividing tasks and creating a safe and conducive environment for work.
