Bruxism aka Teeth Grinding
Approximately 45 million Americans experience teeth grinding during sleep, also known as Bruxism. Extreme levels of stress and anxiety usually cause this sleep disorder. Waking up to a sore jaw and/or headache are the most common symptoms of Bruxism. A mouth guard seems to be the most popular solution but it is also advised not to avoid chewing gum as it allows for the clenching of the jaw.
