Irritated Skin
If you happen to develop a rash that is flaky and persists long-term, you might be suffering from liver damage. The reason for this is that when the liver is not functioning properly, the fluid in the body cannot flow throughout the body properly and can result in thick, flaky, and itchy patches of skin.
Other skin symptoms, in addition to jaundice, include reddening of the feet and hands as well as patches of the skin and the sudden appearance of veins through the skin. If you happen to experience any of the above symptoms talk to your doctor so that they can check to see if the cause is liver damage.
