Muscle Strain
A progressive deterioration of the body will make you physically weaker over time. Compound that with a sedentary lifestyle or long hours spent commuting to and from work, and you have the recipe for strained muscles and tension. People who spend their days sitting are at risk of reduced muscle tone and more pain.
To prevent muscle strain and weakness, you need to remain active. The recommended amount of physical activity is 30-45 minutes at a moderate intensity, 5 days a week. This includes breaking a sweat most of those days. You should also consider lifting some weights, 2-3 days a week, since that will help preserve muscle mass and aid in injury prevention.
