Sweating Without Exertion
If you find yourself drenched in sweat for no reason, as in you aren’t exercising, in a sauna, or at the beach, it could be a sign that you have a heart murmur. The reason for this is the fact that the heart is having to work harder than it should be and may even be heading towards failing. This excessive sweating is more commonly a sign in congenital heart murmurs in children; however, it is also associated with acquired heart murmurs in adults that are due to a change in the heart’s musculature.
