Family-Friendly Walk or Run Races
If your family is living the fit life, you might want to suggest a greater challenge. It is no longer rare to see whole families tacking the challenges of 5K and 10K races with one another. Some families take on runs like the Tough Mudder, Color Run, and Spartan Races too. But even if you’re not the group who wants to run that far, you can still host a neighborhood jog. Better yet, you can host the event for charity, as a block party event, or something else.
Family-friendly races are also being organized across the country, so you could always volunteer your family (and surprise them). Hundreds of options to get walking and running exist. Also, there are training events and free boot camps that can get everyone prepared for the marathons in a city near you. Why not get off the couch and get running together?
