Bonfires
Nothing says “bonding time” like a bonfire. When the day grows dark and everyone is gathered around a bonfire, the experience becomes truly magical. Bonfires are a cheap way to bring people together, and the dancing flames do more than just keep you warm. Gather the kids around and pass out the fixings for s’mores or other campfire foods, like kebabs, campfire nachos, or cheese fries.
You can also trade ghost stories or just regular stories. Sing songs around the bonfire. Take pictures. Light sparklers. The idea here is that the bonfire becomes the epicenter of quality family time and a setting for making memories. No matter what you decide to do, building a bonfire can jump start a good time.
