Canoeing or Kayaking
The best part about canoeing and kayaking is that you don’t need experience to enjoy it. Next, the moment you hit the river or the lake, paddling around with friends and family becomes such an enjoyable activity, you don’t realize how hard you need to sometimes work. That is what makes canoeing and kayaking such excellent cardiovascular and upper body exercise. Kayaking can also work the core. Meanwhile, canoeing works on combined effort, since it takes two to really get moving in a canoe.
Lakes are best for beginners and children, while rivers can provide a sense of adventure, especially with the twists and turns. Be sure to pack plenty of snacks and drinks. Enjoy a picnic in the woods or along the river on a beach. Not only will you be working together to get to the end of the ride, but you will be making memories along the way.
