White Bread
White bread is a nutritional zero. There is nothing good about it, especially for people over 30. White bread will spike your blood glucose levels, which plays a role in hyper- and hypoglycemina, as well as increasing your risk for pre-diabetes. There’s no vitamins or minerals to ingest. No fiber. Only empty carbohydrates and chemicals that are going to be stored as sugar (see our first point) and convert to fat. If you want bread, swap in wholemeal, multigrain, or sprouted alternatives so you are getting complex carbohydrates, protein, fiber, and even some omega-3 fatty acids.
