Diabetes Testing
Diabetes has become a common epidemic in the western world. The prevalence of diabetes is attributed to high-fat and sugar diets common in the western world. These lifestyle factors are responsible for most type 2 diabetes cases in men. This explains why it is crucial for all adult men to be tested regularly for diabetes. Testing is highly recommended to individuals with a BMI of 25 or more according to the ADA (American Diabetes Association). Individuals whose BMI is 25 or more are considered overweight. Such individuals are more susceptible to diabetes.
