Cholesterol Testing
The NCEP (National Cholesterol Education Program) recommends cholesterol testing once after five years for men aged 35 years and above. Cholesterol testing is highly recommendable for men who suffer from diabetes and heart disease as well as men who are genetically predisposed to high cholesterol. It’s worth noting that high cholesterol increases risks of suffering from heart disease. Knowing that you have cholesterol problems early gives you an opportunity to make appropriate lifestyle changes.
